WTGP aims to provide our team with a fun environment to play, develop and enhance your gaming time on World of Warcraft. In doing so, our team asks that you follow some simple but important values in order to ensure everyone’s experience is enjoyable!

Inclusivity:

Being welcoming and supportive of people from a variety of backgrounds. This includes, but not limited to members of any skill level or experience, gender, age, sexual orientation, nationality and socio-economic factors.

Respect:

Not everyone agrees all the time; disagreement is no excuse for disrespectful behaviour. We can all experience some frustration from time to time however we will not allow personal attacks. An environment where people feel uncomfortable or threatened is not productive or fun.

Choosing words carefully:

Always conduct interactions with others in a way that is courteous and kind. Harassment and unreasonable exclusionary behaviour aren’t acceptable. This includes and not limited too:

·         Threats of violence

·         Discriminatory language

·         Unwelcome sexual attention

·         Direct/Indirect attacks on other players i.e. (“whispering” negatively about other players)

·         Advocating for, or encouraging, any of the above behaviour. Including manipulation or falsifying evidence of the above behaviour.

Failure to adhere to the above can result in demotion or expulsion from the guild.

Generally speaking a three strike rule will apply for the above:

·         First strike: warning and/or demotion

·         Second strike: warning and demotion

·         Third strike: expulsion

Penalties are subject to the discretion and decisions of senior ranking guild members. Immediate expulsion can occur for heinous breaches of the code of conduct.
