Looking for active players who prioritize mythic dungeons but would like to achieve AoTC in raids. Players MUST be willing to participate in mythics throughout the week in order to raid. We are patient and kind when it comes to real life, no doubt, but we also expect activity on nights other than raids.

Twisted Fate is a mythic-centered guild with our eyes on becoming an AoTC raiding guild. We clear normal raids and enter heroic only when ilvl and other more stringent requirements are met (running mythics, being active, etc). We like to progress, but we do not play by what is considered "meta" nor do we stick to guides like glue. Our approach is to learn and discover ways to succeed together. We are a guild focused on the people behind the characters and realize that there is more than one way to successfully achieve our goals.

Here are a few bits of general informations:

  • We start to become active daily around 7:30 p.m. server time and are a part of the server cluster of Gorefiend, Wildhammer, Eredar, Spinebreaker, Hellscream, and Zangarmarsh.
  • We are a guild of people who work and have families, which are always priority.
  • As a central-timezone server, we strive to find the ideal times for all timezones.
  • We raid on Mondays and Wednesdays from 8pm until 10pm server. Please consider this carefully. While we have plenty of east and west coast folks for smaller groups at various times, our raid times and active hours are a compromise between the timezones. We simply cannot and will not move them.
  • Efforts are made to keep the guild active, which is why active play is a must for raiding.

Guild Recruitment

We are currently opening all raid positions and rebuilding in advance of the 9.1 patch. Below are a few need-to-know items:

Raiding: To be a raider Twisted Fate must be your primary raid guild. You cannot split your time between our raid nights to run with another guild (ex: run with us Monday and them Wednesday). We are not here to be a secondary guild. We expect active participation in the guild to maintain raider status, meaning logging on and doing things (pvp, mog runs, mythic keys, etc) more than just the two raid nights. Every raider must complete at least one Mythic 10 key a week.

  • Tanks - Open for one main tank to current and potential guildies. We prefer difference classes for optimal utility, though we are not so picky on which two. Ideally, we would like at least three people willing to serve as back-up tanks but are willing to dps otherwise.
  • Healers - Due to flex raiding, ALL healers must be willing to maintain a viable raid dps spec. Anyone not willing to do so will not be a raid healer. We do prefer variety in our healing team to increase utility. We currently have 2 healers for a regular team of 10. As the team increases in size, the need for additional healers will as well.
  • DPS - Open to all classes and specs. We will be working to keep a healthy balance of ranged and melee, though we currently do need more melee dps. As long as you're active in the guild and strive to improve, we can ensure a dps slot until we reach 20 regular raiders and must start being more discerning.

Mythic Keystones:

  • We are looking to recruit tanks, healers, and dps to form as many mythic plus teams as possible. Please keep in mind that tanking and healing mythics for the guild does not mean you automatically become raid tank or healer. Those slots are limited. Still, we want more tanks and healers to increase mythic keystone activity and to increase depth at tank and healer roles.
  • We recommend creating Raiderio teams, especially for higher keystone progression. It is simply logical that higher progress is more efficient when a team can learn strategies together.
  • This does not mean we discourage running fun mythics, even higher ones, with other people. You are not obligated ONLY to your team. It's just a way to manage and coordinate mythic keystones to accommodate a variety of schedules.
