Soulstone Distancing

Intro

Since progression is well on it's way with the guild raiding and congrats to all, i want to start progressing from a PVP front. PVP is a whole different ball game compared to PVE, I know a fair few of you have showed some interest but even if you havnt it could be time to start. By all means this will be a learning experience where we build up a strong team and learn together as we go. I will shortly be creating an event which those interested should sign up. I will be looking to run at least two days a week, 2 hour sessions, days TBC. Like raiding there are rewards to PVP, winning will provide conquest which you can buy level 200+ pieces, also with winning you gain a rating and the higher you climb the better reward from the vault you will receive. 

Rated Battle Grounds  

We all love a bit of competion and rated battle grounds provides a fair share of this, working as a 10 man squad to overcome other guilds and groups in a PVP battle to climb the ranks. The game type consists of 5 maps as far as i am aware and as the team is only 10slots i will be hand picking a selection which provides the most viable comp. Gear level and experience will also be taken into consideration but dont let this stop you signing up as the comp is the most important part. We will require subs so if someone is unable to make the day we have fillers. Team will consist of:

1 Tank ( DPS off spec, preferred but not essential)

3 Healers (ideally a holly paladin, disc priest, resto Sham/Druid)

6 DPS (a mixture, i have a couple of comps in mind but please sign up regardless and i will pick accordingly)

Shot caller (this will mainly be a melee class who can grip a target and call a focus in which the team will pile)

Depending on the interest it could be possible we have two teams up, however in order to do this i need to see numbers and an interest in someone leading a team. I know a fair few strats and have guides etc to help a long the way. By no means do i have tons of experience nor am i a gladiator but i have a passion for PVP and would like to start this journey and represent our guild in the ranks. 

Additonal

There will be a PVP channel created in discord where i will post useful macros, essential addons and other PVP information to help climb the ranks. If you want to prep for the team, then please ensure you do farm some honer and buy your PVP crowd control trinket, this will be compulsary to join, farming this should not take long at all.
