Welcome to Solstice. We are a mostly adult group, some who have been playing since Vanilla, some since launch, most have a few years in the game. We are a sometimes quiet and sometimes gregarious bunch.
Depending upon the number of active players, we try to have a few activities during the week, most notably "Mythic Monday" - the last chance to get a mythic keystone dungeon completed in order to get a reward in the Great Vault (assuming the vault stays the same) - and our Friday night raid. Most of our activities are scheduled to begin between 5:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. server time/Pacific time (8:30-9 p.m. Eastern, 7:30-8 p.m. Central, 6:30-7 p.m. Mountain), but check the calendar to see guild activities that may be scheduled for other times.
We have completed Normal Aberrus and have defeated Kazzara on heroic. We will work through Heroic Aberrus and see how far we can get. We would love to attain the lofty goal of Ahead of the Curve, but that is not an essential part of our raiding culture. NOTE: Raiding is never required in Solstice.
We also try to do some mythic keystone dungeons throughout the week (not just on Mondays) but those groups are up to the individuals who may want to run them. Monday nights we do our best to help guild members who want to complete a mythic keystone dungeon for the vault reward.
When there are WoW weekly events that require groups, we try to get everyone an opportunity to complete those events. Those include, but are not limited to, Timewalking and Emissary of War (complete 4 mythic level dungeons). Guild members are always allowed, indeed, encouraged, to start groups for events like these and use guild chat to seek out like-minded guildmates to join them.
We do not dictate what roles or specs you play, but keep in mind that there are limited slots for tanks and healers when playing in group activities, so if you normally play one of those roles, it is advisable to also have a dps spec geared and available if you want to participate in group activites where established tanks or healers are already participating.
We have a Discord server. Most of our communication is done via Discord, so it's recommended that all guild members join and check there frequently. The link to join our Discord server can be found in our guild info in-game. We also have a guild manual that describes our guild rules and policies. Please review that. You'll receive a link to the manual in your welcome message when you join our Discord server.
Our officers are generally in-game between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. Pacific time week nights, and off and on all afternoon and evening on the weekends.
