Hello All!

Another month in the books and with the Valentine's candies and Super Bowl commercials comes another guildie spotlight! This month we highlight Tording, an Elemental shaman who is dedicated to making sure he promotes guild values and excels in his play. Tording is a member of our core progression team and Below you can find out more about him!

Real Name: Anthony

Character Name: Tordring

How long have you played World of Warcraft? I have been playing the game for seven years or so. I joined during the 6.2 patch of the Warlords of Draenor Expansion during that long content drought. It gave me plenty of time to take part in what the expansion had at the time.

What is your favorite aspect of the game? Raiding is one of my favorite aspects of the game. I enjoy seeing the various fights and mechanics of bosses; learning what it is that they do and overcoming them. This expansion I have been taking part of and enjoying mythic+ to a greater extent. This is the first expansion since the introduction of mythic+ that I have gotten the keystone master achievement.

What do you like about the guild? I joined the guild around two months ago and I enjoy being a part of it. I like the energy and the community that has been created. Being able to take part in mythic raiding again has been very enjoyable, I did not realize how I missed it until recently. I stopped mythic raiding in the Eternal Palace back in the Battle for Azeroth expansion.

What is your favorite class & why? The class that is my favorite is the Shaman. My shaman was the first character I made back when I joined and it has been my main character since. While I have had various alts over the years I tend to keep gravitating back to the shaman as my main because I like what it can do. The various spells and talents that it has ranging from Hex to Tremor totem makes me feel like I have an answer to most situations. Using the various spells that the shaman has in those few niche situations to make things easier for the group is something that I find satisfying. It allows me to show the understanding I have for both my class and the various dungeon and raid encounters.

What is your favorite memory of a guild event? My favorite memory of a guild event that I have been a part of would have to be the raid night I got my first kill on Heroic Sylvanas. Before I joined the guild I had not been able to get a kill on Heroic Sylvanas. Being able to get my first kill on the boss and share that experience with the guild was a fun experience.

Thanks for reading! Check back next month for another Spotlight! Cheers!
