We are a newly founded, casual guild. We aim to shape the guild to the interests and schedule of our founding members, emphasizing inclusivity and welcoming all play styles. As a husband and wife GM duo who work full-time jobs, we want to welcome those who want to jump back into the game without the pressure of constant time commitments.

Here in The Outpost, our primary rule is that everyone should have fun and enjoy themselves while playing the game. As such, our cardinal rules concern behavior, first and foremost. Violating these rules will prompt a discussion with an officer; repeated violations can lead to removal from the guild.

🧭 1. Respect others. Treat all other players with dignity and respect. Be respectful of other members of the guild, their abilities, contributions, and any extra duties they perform to keep the guild running.

🧭 2. We all play to have fun. There are no expectations of greatness here. You must be comfortable with wiping in raids multiple times until we figure it out, new tanks derping in dungeons, stopping or waiting for people due to being in their thirties with children, imperfect gear specs, and lots of toys and feasts.

🧭3. Not everyone will agree with everyone else. Conflict will inevitably arise due to stressors. As adults, members are expected to either try to resolve disagreements with other players civilly, privately, or independently. Failing that, try to work around it. Approach an Officer for assistance if you have exhausted all other options.

🧭 4. Guild rules will inevitably change over time. Guild leaders will notify members of rule changes. Members are expected to read and adhere to new rules. Be mindful that the Guild Leadership tries to make decisions that are best for the guild as a whole and for the long term, which may not necessarily correspond to the best decision for you personally right now.

🧭 5. Constructive feedback and discussion on all aspects of the guild and raiding are always welcome. Complaints should not be made unless accompanied by alternative proposals. All feedback and discussion should respect this Code of Conduct.

🧭 6. Join the Discord. Discord will be the primary way of communicating important guild information (as well as a lot of trivial guild information). Most importantly, changes to raid strategies and guild announcements are made there. You must check Discord regularly and stay apprised of any critical information.

🧭 7. Do not engage in any activity that will disrepute the guild's name. Behaviors such as spamming, trolling, ninjaing, begging, flaming, or other anti-social actions are unacceptable.

🧭 8. Do not use excessive, gratuitous, or explicit language. Justifiable mature language and conversation are to be accepted in a guild of adults. Politics, religion, and similarly divisive topics are embargoed.

🧭 9. Abusive, threatening, discriminatory, or prejudicial behavior of any form is expressly forbidden and will be met with immediate expulsion from the guild. Intentionally vexatious, obstructive, malicious, hostile, aggressive, or insulting behavior is unacceptable.

🧭 10. Follow the Guild Rules and Code of Conduct at all times. This creates an infinite recursive loop of order.
