Mythic Raiding Recruitment Process
Our recruitment process is rather simple. The first thing you need to do is contact us to let us know you are interested. You can do this by clicking the 'Apply' button at the top right of our website and filling out the short contact form there.
Once we receive your contact request we will message you in game via the information you have provided to us. At this time we may ask you a few more questions as we work to setup a discord interview. Our interview on discord is where we will really get into all of the important information we need to decide if you are a good fit for us.
By the end of our discord interview, we will either extend you an offer to trial with us, or we will not. Either way, you will know your status with us by the end of the interview.
Raid Trial Process
At the end of our discord interview if we have invited you to join our team, you will begin your trial with us immediately. Our trial period usually lasts about three consecutive raid weeks, but can go as long as four weeks or indefinitely depending on your ability in raid and whether or not we are satisfied with your performance.
During your trial period, you are expected to maintain a 100% attendance record. The only exception to this is real life emergencies and pre-determined absences that were approved by the officer core prior to the start of your trial. Keep in mind that you must be present in at least 6 progression raids prior to being eligible for promotion, so if you miss one you will have to make it up regardless of the circumstances.
The vast majority of our trials are promoted to 'Raider' by the end of the third raid week. Even those that struggle at the beginning often make it through their trial. This is mostly due to our raid captain's dedication to coaching their respective trials and helping them be the best they can be.
Even if you fail your trial with us, you will come out of it a better raider than when you began. Most raid trials that do not make it on the roster stay in the guild as a social member and work to better their play and make another attempt at trialing when a spot opens.
Social Recruits
We do accept more casual players into the guild as social recruits. Often a friend of an existing member, social recruits are required to be in the guild for at least two weeks prior to being promoted to 'Member'.
Often times we find that people prefer to join the guild first as a social recruit while they work on their game play and wait for a raid spot to open before trialing with the raid team. This is not always the case, but it does occur occasionally, especially when the recruit is a friend of another guildie.
