We are a tight knit guild of AotC players looking to push keys for KSM and solidify a roster for the next tier. Raid time Tues/Thurs 8 pm CST. Looking for a core Tank, Healer, and solid players of any role.
Rules
1. BE KIND
As an inclusive guild, we expect a minimum level of decorum. We want to avoid making anyone feel uncomfortable or unwelcome, so a list of guidelines has been provided:
No Hate Speech Treat everyone with respect. Slurs or comments that would be considered racist, sexist, ableist, or otherwise discriminatory are unwelcome in our community. Absolutely no harassment or hate speech will be tolerated. This includes using mental and physical illness as ways to describe or make fun of things. Examples include but are not limited to the following: - Racist speech (N-word, etc.) - Ableist speech (R-word, describing someone as a "wheelchair", etc.) - Homophobic speech (F-word, etc.) - Transphobic speech (Tr*p, etc.) - Describing things as "AIDS" or "Cancer" - Calling someone/something "Psycho"
No Bullying Don't target or single anyone out for the purpose of humiliating or making jokes at their expense. Obviously we jest with/about each other in good fun, just know the line and don't cross it. Let's build each other up, not bring each other down
2. BE PRESENT
As we build and schedule events we'll make it clear whether an event is standard (e.g. attendance expected) or optional. For core raid team members, raid and mythic+ events will usually be expected while mog runs, achievement runs, and etc will usually be optional.
Attendance
Life happens. If you are going to miss or be late, just let us know ahead of time. If you thought you'd be late, but turns out you'll miss entirely, just let us know as soon as you can. A note in discord #general goes a long way :).
When there are no obstacles in your way, however, we expect you to be on-time to raid. Raid times listed indicate when we want to pull the boss. Invites will start going out no later than 15m before first pull. Consistent tardiness will put your core spot on the team at risk.
3. BE PREPARED
This rule does not require quite as much explanation. For Raids and for Mythic+ pushing, this means coming equipped with consumables, sockets filled, and gear enchanted. Flasks and Oils are expected for progression.
Check the discord bounty board often to see what the guild is in need of most. The guild will strive to provide feasts & cauldrons for raid nights, and we're always looking for ways to reward those that help make that possible with their donations.
If ever the guild is in a spot where it can't provide for the week, an announcement will be made in discord to provide plenty of time to get personally prepped
4. LOOT RULES
Nothing major, but might as well set expectations. A simple list:
Upgrades First - Need Before Greed Personal loot handles this for the most part, but in all scenarios upgrades > sidegrades > greed. If personal loot grants you with an item, it's yours to choose whether to equip as an upgrade or offer it up for a roll. If you are not sure if it's an upgrade, assume it is and hold onto it. If you would rather pass an item to someone else, that's in your power to do so. During progression, it's highly encouraged to do a roll off - but not required as long as it goes to someone that can use it before being DE'd or vendored.
