About us

Kings of Winter are a Heroic raiding guild whose primary goal is getting Ahead of the Curve for this and upcoming raid tiers of Shadowlands and beyond! We have a history of raiding since Legion, but in BfA it died down due to massive dissatisfaction with the game and we began anew in Shadowlands. Our current progress is 9/10 Heroic and as mentioned above our main goal for the tier is Curve.

What are we looking for

We are looking for likeminded players to us, who are communicative, reliable, pull their own weight in terms of performance, and are respectful and community oriented. All exceptional players are considered. Our priorities at the moment are expanding our team with Healer and RDPS players, although some MDPS specs are considered as well! Besides that we also have a spot off-spec Tanks, but those roles are sorted for the most part.

What we provide

Essentially, we offer what we are looking for in the paragraph above regarding the qualities of a player. We're a friendly and mature community of 25+ year old players, we keep it fun and enjoyable for everyone while keeping things fairly competitive and we are constantly improving in our raids, dungeons, and personal performance. Our primary activities are HC Raiding and Mythic+.

Specifics

Realm: Silvermoon EU

Raid times: Tuesday and Thursday 20:00 - 22:30 CET (forming starts at 19:45 and we extend the times when we are in high spirits but don't require of anyone to commit further than 22:30) and on Sundays we sometimes host chill events of any kind.

Going forward

The goal is to establish a long-lasting guild of likeminded players and to always have a group for doing any kind of content. Our primary goal gameplay-wise is indeed getting Ahead of the Curve for every tier, but after that, should farming HC become too easy or if the majority of the alts are geared, we can jump into Mythic stress-free and see how far we can get by the end of the tier, just to have something to do with the rest of the time and to always have something to look forward to. I will have to clarify that if you have primarily Mythic aspirations we might not be the guild for you, as we most likely wont clear Mythic fully this tier, and it is not a guarantee for other tiers either.
