Guild Update

Raid Progress and Promotions

Welcome back to our guild updates. It's been an exciting few days for the guild as we began our progression through Castle Nathria. As we mentioned last week, our raiding roster had grown very quickly - so much so we ended up running two raid groups, each raiding twice a week. Week 1 went really well, with our Thursday raiding group downing 5 bosses and our Wednesday group taking 3 bosses. The following Sunday, Group 1 went and pushed and took down Generals and then Shriekwing Heroic - A great achievement for the first week. Group 2 followed up themselves and took down 9/10. 

Tuesday rolled around and the plan for each group was to finish normal and take down Sire, which we are pleased to report both groups did with only 7 wipes between them. I think I speak for all the officers when I say we couldn't be prouder with how each group performed. 

This did leave us with a dilemma though - Our original plan was to take one group to mythic as soon as possible with Group 2 continuing to raid normal/heroic and rotating out members as needed. Our performance in the first raid week meant we actually had two groups who we judged were ready for mythic. As such, our new experiment is to have both groups raiding mythic as soon as possible, balancing each as the need arises. Ambitious to be sure - but we don't want anyone left behind. 

So with that in mind, this reset we decided to smash through normal to gear up those that were lacking a little and get both teams ready for heroic. I'm pleased to say, Group 2 are getting ready for Monday where they'll be finishing up. Group 1 smashed normal, taking 10/10 and then followed up with a 3/10 heroic push in just an hour, just missing out on 4/10 due to an errant seed! 

We're looking forward to our next sessions and pushing even further. With that in mind however, we do have some additional trial spots opening - We are specifically looking for the following:

• Balance Druid
• Mage (all specs)
• Priest (Disc)
• Warlock (Affliction)
