All classes and specs will be considered, do not be discouraged if your class/spec is not listed.
We’re a fairly new guild with leadership that goes back to WOTLK and some. We have various Mythic raid experience, including this previous tier up to 11/12M before taking a break and deciding on creating this guild. As a collective we are looking to provide a toxicity and ego free CE focused environment. We do expect higher levels of attendance but absolutely understand that real life comes first. Members are encouraged to take time away from raiding for any conflicting family events, etc.
What does “toxicity and ego free” mean and how do we plan to accomplish this?
This objective does not mean we’re a PG guild, and we are currently only accepting members who are over the age of 18. Like myself and many others on Area 52, or in the game in general, we’ve found that playing at a higher level typically results in toxicity and egotistical behavior. Whether it comes from leadership or other members, it’s never welcome in our guild. We all have bad days, but this environment is meant to be generally relaxed and enjoyable while clearing the highest available content possible. We joke, we bust each others chops, we talk a little smack, but never in a truly malicious manner. We encourage healthy competition, constructive criticism, and trying things that might not necessarily be the “meta” (such as Covenants, etc).
Schedule, goals, and in-game expectations:
Raid schedule: Tuesday & Thursday, 8PM to 11PM EST/Server time. Possible Sunday 8PM to 10PM depending on progression needs.
We intend to clear and farm AOTC as early as possible, moving to Mythic when the item level is right. We are not going for world firsts so we’ll have plenty of time to progress. We plan to achieve CE each tier and will continue with re-clears during the tier.
We expect all players who apply to raid (1) to possess class and mechanical knowledge. This includes patch notes, changes to your class and or raid mechanics/buffs/nerfs, etc.
We expect all players to log in at least 5 minutes before raid time, prepared (2) with all necessary consumables, to ensure an on-time first pull. This includes any class or player that may be on our active bench, as we’ll rotate slots as progression calls for it throughout our raid night.
We expect you to enjoy your time in-game with and without us. It’s a game. It’s OK to miss raid if you need to, or even just need a night for yourself.
Please reach out via Discord if you have any questions. Discord names are case sensitive!
(1) not all members are required to raid, we allow casuals, pvp focused, and M+ focused players as well
(2) for raiding members “prepared” means all of the above. consumables, class and mechanical knowledge, etc. this means watching guides on new content as well. we will typically post a guide we intend to follow in discord before we attempt a new boss. just do your best, we’re not recruiting machines. stuff happens.
