Dawn of War

We're a pretty old guild - I joined the guild back in 2012 back on The Maelstrom when the old GM had reformed it from an Alliance guild (the horror!) to a proper Horde guild. We were a PvP/social guild back then, but after I took over (in early MoP) we were struggling to keep the RBGs going. PvP on Horde side was not balanced - these were the days of the OP Human Racial and everyone scrambling to level their human alts. While the social side of the guild was going strong, RBGs were sadly dead.

There were a few people in the guild with some raiding experience who were keen to get back into it, so we started up a raid team somewhere in the middle of SoO and we managed to get up to Garrosh on heroic - which placed us at #2 on Horde side on our server.

We continued to raid on The Maelstrom up until BFA. By the end of Battle for Dazaralor we had to admit that the server was dead and we needed to move on. It was a hard decision after so many years, but it really helped us out. We had our first Cutting Edge by the end of Castle Nathria and everyone on our raid team had their shiny mounts.

Our guild has its ups and downs when it comes to raids and PvP, but we always try to recruit people that we will enjoy playing with and who we would like to socialise with IRL. We've had many meetups over the years from Budapest and Berlin to Stockholm and Copenhagen (and many mini meets between guildies who like to take advantage of being in the same country).

If you join, you're expected to chat and find your space. Get to know your guildies. Our normal ice breaker questions include things like: "Where did you grow up?" "What was the name of your first pet?" "What was the name of your childhood best friend?"
