Shadowlands Update: currently we are 6/10 in castle nathria and progressing on council, we are actively looking for more dps players at this time, ranged as a priority but will be happy to review applications form anyone for any role. we are always aiming for cutting edge, and we have become ever closer to this with each tier and hope to make good progression on each tier through the shadowlands.

If you are successful in your application, trial periods generally last 3 weeks but we hold the right to reserve this and extend it if necessary.

Who are we? Battle for Africa was founded in August 2018 at the start of the Battle for Azeroth expansion. The guild was formed by a group of ex Mythic 2-3 night per week raiders who couldn’t keep up the schedule.

We have a strong leadership team that is dedicated to the longevity and success of the guild. We are highly sociable and encourage interactions in the guild to build the synergy of the raid team.

As our main raid only occurs once per week we try to get the best out of our 3 hour slot. As we progress further into the patch raid extensions are very prominent so that we can continue the progression weekly. We do have an optional raid night on Wednesday that is normally to clear heroic near the start of the patch. This is completely OPTIONAL and there isn’t an expectation for you to attend, despite many doing so.

What do we expect from you: We are looking for strong members of the world of warcraft community that are highly motivated, have a strong understanding of their class and role and accept constructive criticism without taking it personally.

Because we are a one day a week guild we are complemented to a total of 25 for our raid team. We prioritise progress and will take what is best for the guild on each specific encounter, we expect our raiders to understand this when it comes to progression.

What we offer: A stable raiding guild focused on progression with strong leadership, strategising and performance management. We encourage feedback and input from all members providing it doesn’t interrupt the raid progression too much.

We also provide paid for services. These include a paid for Raidbots service to sim your character using a discord bot and skipping queues. We also have a Nitro boosted Discord server for better quality Audio and streaming, also the emojis :).
